THALIA UPDATE IN SPAIN  FROM THE "NOCHE DE FIESTA" SHOW.

I watched THALIA on the Live Show "Noche de Fiesta" via cable channel tve (Television Espanola") and she sung the song "Arrasando"  wearing a sexy shimmering glittering blue pants outfit!  She looked oh so sexy, pretty and with that great VAMP look which I have never seen before,  looking the way she did awhile ago!  What a awesome sight!  Good I recorded the segments.  She said she liked the food, she's happy to be in Spain also her home, she like the culture, the people and thanked her public for supporting her "Arrasando" CD which gained 2 platinum records in just a week being in Spain.

In my opinion, the "Arrasando" song has a really different dance tune style which Thalia successfully created on her own which would set a new trend in dance music.  Gee! The way she sung the song was too fast and her voice got deeper and richer!  She sung the song very sexily!!! What a low voice!  Thalia can surely sing any type of songs be it ballad, dance, hip- hop, jazz, R&B, pop, and reggae. A real total entertainer, super singer!   I was watching it with awe. I just cannot believe she had developed into a much higher level of super star singer status!  She really looked like she's MORE in charge of her self now and looking very confident but, still with that irresistible charm, charming her way, as always, to the people's hearts.

Thalia's latest appearance on "Al Fin de Semana" show last May 01.

Well, last Monday May 1, I went to the recording of the show, "Al Fin de Semana" and it was all very nice. The  recording started at nine o'clock in the evening till one o'clock in the morning, the next day.

Thalia sang five songs, namely, "Siempre Hay Cariqo", "Regresa a Mi:, "Reencarnacisn", "Arrasando", and "Entre el Mar y Una Estrella". The conductor interviewed Thalia. She said that she went to Filipinas three times, and once time, went to take a photograph, and they said to her she's  "puti" in Tagalog it means "She's white", and she didn't like it because in Mexico, that is a bad word but she said that she loves Filipinas.

VIVA THALIA As Rosalinda, Mexico's queen
of soaps is taking Filipino televiewers by storm
By: Editor - in - Chief's note:  Monica Feria

MANILA'S MEXICANA SWEETHEART

Thalia is Manila's Mexicana sweetheart.  When the Pinoy soap audience met her as MariMar some years ago, they were smitten.  Her TV ratings were unprecedented. She caused serious rethinking among local producers and new improved shows were offered.

But Thalia, Ariadna Sodi Miranda in real life, is back as Rosalinda.  And again, she is brewing up a storm in television ratings.  No doubt about it, she is still the country's primetime soap opera queen.

Soaps have always been popular with televiewers.  Here, beautiful, poor girls are humiliated by rich contrabidas, only to emerge triumphant in the arms of a Prince Charming in the end.  Unreal and escapist?  Maybe.  Thalia, however, says she has received many letters of people telling her they have gone through similar experiences.  She also adds:  "I identify  a lot with (my) roles because I feel that they portray a lot of factors in my own life, of things I have lived".

More than this, the ratings reflect the mystic of Thalia herself.  In this issue, associate editor Lita C. Lee scanned the web for news and interviews with Thalia, and clues to her continuing success.

AS ROSALINDA THE MEXICAN BOMBSHELL TAKES FILIPINO TELEVIEWERS BY STORM AGAIN

When her Telenovela "Rosalinda" opened this season, Mexican bombshell Thalia rekindled the passion of her Filipino fans.

In interviews abroad, Thalia confessed that she's  "living in one of the best moments" of her life- careerwise and spiritually.  Not only has "Rosalinda" been successfully sold to EUROPE and  SOUTH AFRICA like "Hotcakes", she also feels that this telenovela has taught her to be "clothed" with love and to bring peace. "This telenovela arrived at the moment when I'm very happy and have reached maturity as an artist and as a person; I'm enjoying it. And spiritually, I'm not affected by those worldly things," she said.
